Change, Cancellations, Fault to check-in (no-show) Policy :
By the moment we correctly receive your deposit, the booking for your group it is confirmed and the deposit will not be refunded in case of cancellations. Changes to your booking are possible just if approved by e-mail by our Booking Centre, booking cancellations or penalties are possible in case of changes. The total ammount of the booking of your group it is needed in case of cancellation of the booking within 1 month from the scheduled arrival day (check-in day) or in case of the group fault to arrive on the check-in day.

Did you book an half or full board option with meals (dinners/lunches/pached lunches) ? Than jus choose in advance you favorited menù !

At the time of the confirmation of your booking, if you have booked also for meal at Wiki hostel, our Booking Centre will send to you a form you can fill in and send back to us order to choose in advance your menù, so to manage at the best your choice and your needs.

CHECK-IN TIME FOR YOUR GROUP AT WIKI (ZAGAROLO-ROME) :
The time to check-in at Wiki it is 12 o'clock (noon) for arrival in the hostels, prior arrivals are possible just if communicated in advance and accepted by e-mail our Booking Centre. The check-in in the rooms it is possible from 2pm. The check-in day the group has to check-in within 9pm, if the group has problem to arrive within this time, the group has to ask in advance to our Booking Centre if it is possible to set a check-in after 9pm. Usually it happens when groups decide to visit Rome from the first day, in this case we strongly recommend at least 1 person of the group, the group's responsible (group leader) anticipates the arrival of the rest of the group, coming at Wiki within 9pm in order to execute all the needed check-in steps (see below) and so to manage the later arrival of the group.

HOW TO GET TO WIKI (ZAGAROLO-ROMA) ON THE ARRIVAL DAY :
Organize your group arrival in advance. Have a look on the driving directions if you are going to arrive with your own private transport (auto/minibus/pulmann). Have a look on the public transport infos & the luggages transfer infos if you are going to get to us by pulic trasnport (train) or you decide for a private extra transfer for your group (groups & bags) or just for your luggages between the Rome-airports & Wiki hostel.

Get to Wiki (Zagarolo train station) from main Rome-Airports or Rome train stations :
It is possible to get to Wiki hostel local train station (Zagarolo) from the main train station & public trasnport gateway of Rome (Roma Termini train station) & from the airports of Rome : Roma-Ciampino (G. How to get to Wiki from Zagarolo train station :
Zagarolo train station it is located just 1.200 mt (10/15 minutes of walk) from Wiki hostel (10/15 minuti a piedi). The group can walk to us or can take any public transport bus (Cotral Bus) directed to Zagarolo-Palestrina (les than 5 minutes, your stop it is via Zagarolese/Eurospin Discount near the double rotatory Zagarolo-Palestrina that it located 100 mt from Wiki hostel. A luggages transfer from Zagarolo train station to Wiki hostel it is possible ! And it is for free for your group ! So just organize for it in advance ! Here all the infos you need :
Wiki offers to your group a free transfer service for the luggages from our local train station (Zagarolo) to the hostel during the arrival and departure day. This service it is available during the front desk hours. If your group need this service please ask for it to our Booking Centre that will confirm you the availability for this service. And on your arrival day do not forget to confirm us your arrival, just remember to your group's responsible (group leader) to call us by phone when the group is on the train from Rome Termini to Zagarolo.

• 2) Do you prefer a special and extra direct transfer service between airports and Wiki hostel ? You can do it ! For all your group (perople & luggages) or just for your group's luggages !

Free from the luggages on your arrival day ? You can do it ! Ask us for the special & extra transfer service for your group's luggages, directly from the Rome-aiports to Wiki hostel !

If you prefer to move between the Rome-airports (Fiumicino or Ciampino) & Wiki hostel free of the luggaes, you can ask for a private & extra luggages transfer service. Ask for it to our Booking Centre, it is an external and professional service, and it is not at all so expensive (it costs about 5/10 Euro by bag). This service will allow to your group to arrive to Wiki easily and without luggages your group it will be able to visit Rome from the earliest time. A direct transfer from Rome-airports to Wiki hostel for your group (people & luggages) ? You cand do it ! Ask us for the special & extra transfer by minibus or pulmann with professional driver !
We suggest this option just in case the group needs to go to the airports on very early hours on the departure day. Also this service it is suggestes for groups coming/going from/to Rome-Fiumicino airport, because being located pretty far from Rome downtown and from Wiki hostel, the estimate for a transfer by public transport in case of a large size group (35& more people) it is just less expensive than the estimate for a private and direct transfer with pulmann and professional driver. If you need this service ask for it to our Booking Centre, we will provide to inform you about the estimate and we will help you to confirm this service if you confirm you want to book it for your group.

Are you going to get to us by tourist bus ? Please have a look here !
The Wiki private parking it is available for moto, cars and minibus. Tourist bus/pulmann can not access to our little private street, so they can not have access to our parking. Tourist bus/pulmann have to stop temporary nearby the rotatory located just 100 mt from Wiki hostel, in order to accompany nearest to Wiki the group (& the luggages). Than the bus driver can park the bus at the public parking areas of the city of Zagarolo for free (5 minutes from the hostel, hostel shuttle available fro free for the driver). Or if you prefer you can choose for a private parking option : we can suggest a private parking solution in the area (5 minutes from the hostel, hostel shuttle for the driver available for free), or you can choose another private solution by yourself. Because both the parking options (public or private) they are located outside the hostel, Wiki hostel does not take any responsability on it. Just as an usefull information : we just can confirm that (actually by now) our area it is a very quiet & safe area, till now nothing never has happened to our groups bus in both the options (public or private parking). The group leader has to choose the best solution for the group.

Do you have a person responsible for your group (group leader) ?

A group leader it is necessary in order to manage the arrival, check-in and period of staying of your group at Wiki hostel !

Do you have a valid credit card available for guarancy about damnages ? You need to deposit a credit cardat the time of your group check-in !
The deposit of a valid credit card (no debit, no atm, no prepaid) it is needed & mandatory at the time of the check-in of your group on your arrival day, otherwise the hostel reserves the right to cancel your booking. We will accept credit card just if in period of validity and just if they afford the payment of 500€ &+. The credit card holder has to be physically at Wiki with the group at the check-in time, just remember him/her to bring the credit card and a valid and readable identity document copy (passport if not european). Our staff will ask the group leader to deposit the credit card and will give to the group leader a form the card holder has to fill & sign in order to check-in. If you do not have a credit card we will ask as a 2nd option the deposit of 500 € cash deposit.

Payments :
The payment of the total ammount of your booking (staying, meals and everything you have booked with us) it has to be paid to AIG/Hostelling International central booking centre. Just for extra you decide when at the hostel (such as restaurant & bar services) it is needed de payment at the hostel, the day before your check out, the group leader will be able to pay by cash or credit cards. Fee are applicable for credit cards payments.

The group leader has with him/her a valid identity document ?
The deposit of a valid identity document (passport if not european) of the group leader it is mandatory at the check-in time.

The group memebers have with them valid identity docs or at least a collective passport for group ?
Identity docs of any person of your group have to be given to our staff if we request the group leader to do it.

Do you need meals and you fault to ask for meal at the time of your booking confirmationi ? Do not worry ! You can ask for lunches, dinners, packed lunches at the time of the check-in !
By the check-in time, our staff will give to the group leader the form for the booking of the meal (lunches/dinners(pached lunches). Just if you need the meals also on the arrival day, we recommend you to book for it in advance, just ask for it to our Booking Centre.

Do you have a list with the infos on your group's members ? It is not necessary, but if you arrive with a full filled list the check-in will be faster !
By the check-in time our staff will give to the group leader a form, asking to the group leader to fill it with his personal identity infos and the infos about any members of the group, children included. If you have already a your own list the check-in will be much faster. In order to prepare the list please remember to write for any person of your group : name, last name, yaer and place of birth, nationality.

• 1) How to move between Wiki & Rome downtown ? Just organize you in advance with the tourist passes (all inclusive tickets transport), the most usefull tickets for saving time & money ;)

The local city train it is best way to move between Wiki & Rome downtown !

The train in fact it is the faster and cheaper connection between our local train station (Zagarolo train station, just 1200 meters from the hostel) and Rome downtwon central station (Roma Termini train station). The time of the run it is 25/35 minutes, dozen of trains connection are available every day from 5 am to 23 (11 pm). Our local train station (Zagarolo) it is located just 1200 mt (less tha 1 mile, 10/15 minutes of easy walking) from Wiki hostel. Here many more infos about it :

The 1 day, 3 days, 7 days tourist passes are the best solution for visiting Rome downtown I biglietti pass turistici da 1 giorno, 3 giorni, 7 giorni sono una soluzione migliore dei singoli biglietti ! In order to save money & time we suggest to buy it immediately on your arrival in Rome airport or Rome Termini train station !

Single one ride tickets or all inclusive tourist passes are available for sell in any train station, newspaper shop and cigarettes shops (those with th blue "T"). We suggest to our guests the tourist passes : 1 day (BIRG), 3 days (BTR), 7 days (CIRS), in fact those tickets are the best way to move freely between Wiki & Rome downtown saving time and money. They all inclusive for : Wiki-Rome-Wiki train connection and all the public transport of Rome downtown such as bus, tram and the subway also, illimitade travels, no limits. They are nominal and valid from the time of the first stamp (mandatory) to the midnight of the 1st/3rd or 7th days. What to do in Rome downtown ?
A walk in Rome downtown historical centre it is ever for free and you can admire famous historical hot spot such as Navona square (piazza Navona), Trevi's Fountain (Fontana di Trevi), the Pantheon, Campo dei Fiori square & more & more. But in order to get in some historical, archaeological, artistical hot spot you have to pay, and for Sistine Chapel/Vatican Museums (Cappella Sistina/Musei Vaticani) or Colesseum/Roman Forum (Colosseo/Fori Romani) we ever suggest to organize yourself in advance in order to book your tickets and your group's tour. What to do nearby Wiki ("Castelli Romani" & "Monti Prenestini" area) ?
Our area it is a beautiful area, rich of history and featured by a tradition of good wine and tasty food.  Our area in fact it is well known every where as the famous "Castelli Romani" area. Zagarolo it is our city just located ad walking distance from the hostel, it is a tipycal mid-age city featured by several interesting spots to see in Zagarolo as Palazzo Rospigliosi, the Tondo, ancient churches & a Toy Museum for children (and older children). Saturday it is the day of the local flea market (dress & food for cheap;). Sunday it is the day of a real attraction of the area : the organic food farmer market ! The summer season it is featured by free events and festivals such as "Cover the Top", the "Notte Bianca" or the "San Lorenzo" night. On the 1st week-end of October the city became a real attraction & typical old tradition you can not miss with the famous Wine & Grape Festival ("Sagra dell'Uva") an incredibile event with historical parades, free wines & many events such as free live music concerts and artshow for all age people !!! On autumun Zagarolo hosts the interesting & "green & slow tour philosophy" bike festival called "Good Bike festival".
Palestrina (just located 6 km) it is really a lovely mid-age city, born city of the famous musician "Pierluigi da Palestrina" it offers the amazing Archeological Museum & the Fortuna Primigenia Temple with its worldwide famous "Mosaico del Nilo". Tivoli (just located 15 min from Zagarolo) it is a real must for all tourist coming to Rome : the ancient history of Villa Adriana part of the Unesco World Heritage Centres, Villa d'Este with its terrific fountains, and Villa Gregoriana with its incredible waterfalls and cave ! On summer time it offers many festical, the typical "Sagra del Giglietto" and a well known rock festival "Nel Nome del Rock". All the rest of the area it is beautifull if you have time and a good your own trasnport to visit it. Within "Castelli Romani" area we suggest you can not miss Frascati, Ariccia, Grotta di Papa, Nemi.  The "Monti Prenestini" area it is less famous but also it is beautiful, we just do not suggest Palestrina but also Castel San Pietro  & Capranica and the beautiful (& tastefull) Genazzano.

Finally, there is a growing attraction hot spot located in Valmontone, just 15 minutes from the hostel in fact it has opened in 2011 a largest Amusement Park for kids & children called Raimbow Magic Land.

How to move in the area : Apart Zagarolo (located just at walking distance) all the area needs a your own trasnport, your car or private bus. Public buses are available but they need a lot of waiting and a lot of time. Bikes dedicated routes are actually not available, we can not suggest to move with the bike because our local streets are not provided of a dedicated and safe bike route.

The day before the check-out, pay for all the extra !
The day before the check-out day, the group leader has to pay the total ammount of the extra requested for the group. This payment has to be made by the group leader within the front desk hours : no later than 9pm.

The evening before the check-out, all the luggages out of the rooms and in lobby before midnight if the group has to leave the hostel before 7 am !
If on the departure day the group is going to check-out and leave the hostel before 7am, it is mandatory to take out the luggages from the rooms the evening before the check-out. In this case the group has to take out the luggages from the rooms to the lobby, before midnight in order to respect the silence hours & the rest of the other guests.

The morning of the check-out the group leader it is invited to a check tour in the hostel in order to verify with our staff eventual damanges/loss :
The group leader it is really invited to a make a tour in the hostel with our staff in order to check & verify together the condition of the hostel : outdoor & indoor area, rooms assigne to the group, kitchen (just for groups in SELF contained option). If the group has the need to check out before the reception opening time (8 am), our staff will check by itself and will communicate to the group the ammount for eventual damnages or loss. Without any damnages or loss the guarancy mandatory deposit left by credit card at the time of the check-in will be immediately and fully refunded to the group leader. In case of damnages or loss the Booking Centre will begin an estimate and will communicate the ammount to the group leader, this ammount will not refunded.

WHEN TO LEAVE FROM WIKI HOSTEL :

The check-out time it is 12 o'clock from the hostel, 10 am it is the check-out from the rooms. It is possible to remain at Wiki hostel after 12 o'clock just with a previous agreement with our Booking Centre, if you need it just ask us for an overtime option. Front-desk hours are 8.30 am to 9 pm. Our front-desk crew is available for assistance to the group check-out from 8.30 am (not before). Obviously the group it is free to decide for a check-out before 8.30 am but with no assistance of our front-desk staff. Breakfast is always available anytime the group want to check out.

HOW TO MANAGE THE LEAVING OF YOUR GROUP ON THE DEPARTURE DAY :
Organize your group leaving in advance. Have a look on the driving directions if you are going to leave us with your own private transport (auto/minibus/pulmann). The train from our local train station (Zagarolo train station) it is the best public trasnport in order to reach Rome central train station & main public transport terminal (Rome Termini) and Rome-Ciampino (G.
